The Second Long-Lost Book of 2015 Doesn't Disappoint
"The news that Geisel's widow had discovered not just one but two abandoned—but more or less complete—manuscripts among the late author's papers was therefore greeted with excitement (she actually discovered them in 1991 shortly after his death, but set them aside and forgot about them). The first of these manuscripts, has been published with an initial print run of 1,000,000 copies, and debuted at the #1 spot on Amazon.com. Probably written between 1958 and 1962, the manuscript is described as "nearly complete." The question is, is it what Geisel intended to publish, and does it meet the high standards of Dr. Seuss' other works?"
