If you need a little break from the 24-hour news cycle this week (I know I will), we've got some new lighter reading for you to rest your brain with.

Review: 'Bossypants' by Tina Fey
Tina Fey is the hilarious everywoman who so many of us can relate to, despite her fame and success and her being funnier than all of the rest of us. But other than that, she's just like us! And she wrote a memoir about it!

Review: 'Dead Reckoning' by Charlaine Harris
Sookie Stackhouse, on the other hand, is not much like me at all, other than that we both live in Louisiana. For example, I hardly ever cavort with vampires.

A Month of Poems
National Poetry Month is now over (it's National Barbecue Month now). Did you celebrate? If you, like pretty much everyone else who isn't a poet or a children's librarian, forgot to partake in the fiesta, you can make it up to yourself. A month of poems, delivered one at a time to your inbox, starting on any day that is good for you. And it's free!

'Thor' Movie Gallery
Thor is coming soon to theaters, and it looks promising. From the perspective of every comic book fan that I know, this is Very Important News, because it's part of the same film series as Iron Man and Iron Man 2 which were, according to my expert panel, the Best Comic Book Movies Ever. I also liked them, despite (gasp!) never having read any of the Iron Man comics, so this one is on my list, as well.
