Review: 'The Curfew' by Jesse Ball
The Curfew is a new novel set in the near future, in a creepy city just called "C." The book is dark and dense, the sort that you'll find yourself re-reading several times in order to unravel its mysteries.

Steampunk Books for Teens
The steampunk trend, which seems to have its robotic tentacles in everything from fine art to fashion these days, and literature is no exception. These excellent steampunk books are appropriate for teens and adults alike.

Review:
Embassytown is set in a distant future, and deals with the theme of language and communication, via the humans who've colonized an alien planet. Our reviewer lauds it as a piece of extraordinary science fiction, something I don't read nearly enough of these days!
