Great Books to Read in the Winter
Since basically everyone in North America is snowed in (again), I imagine lots of reading is getting done. Need some ideas for your own reading list? These books pair perfectly with hot chocolate. Oh, and if you're in the Southern hemisphere? Go read a beach book and quit rubbing it in.

2011 Caldecott Medal Winner Announced
The Caldecott Medal is one of the most prestigious awards in all of literature, and is bestowed upon one deserving picture book each year. Past medalists include children's classics like Owl Moon, The Polar Express, Where the Wild Things Are, and The Snowy Day. Find out which book took home the honor this year.
