I've been on a nonfiction kick since before the New Year, but I'm starting to itch for some fiction. Good thing there's plenty out there that I haven't read yet!

Review: 'Give Me Your Heart' by Joyce Carol Oates
Not so many years ago, I read an interview with Joyce Carol Oates, wherein she said that she writes longhand, and spends a dedicated workday writing, each and every day. Review: 'Our Kind of Traitor' by John le Carre
I don't know a darned thing about John le Carre's writing process, but I assume that it, too, would put mine to shame.

Movie Review: 'The Green Hornet'
When it was first announced that Seth Rogen would be starring in this comic book adaptation, I think everyone in the comic books world said, "What, what!?" in unison. Turns out, though, critics and audiences alike quite like him in the role.

Manga Movie 'GANTZ' Makes Star-Splashed Premiere in LA
... and our very own Deb Aoki was on hand for the big premiere of the new manga movie GANTZ. It sounds like the original manga was better than the movie (but isn't the book always better than the movie?) but the premiere itself was quite the trip.
